Your hunting area
Your hunting area was selected fifteen years ago by the Hunting Pleasure team. It is located halfway between Madrid and Valencia, in the heart of La Mancha, land of Don Quijote.
Property of a Spanish family, the territory of more than 5,000ha will welcome your group of friends from October to mid-February. During your stay, you will rarely go to the same place. Hunt exclusively in front of you, with pointing dogs.
Your hunting area is conducive to the development of game in a 100% natural biotope: a mixture of agricultural areas, fields of olive trees, small valleys in which you can enjoy rosemary, thyme… everything is conducive to hunting!
Our prices
From €1250 for 3 days of hunting – 4 nights based on 4 to 6 hunters.
The price of the stay (package) depends on the number of hunters in your group and the number of hunting days (and nights). Minimum 2 hunters 2 days of hunting, 3 nights full board, drinks during meals included.
You will hunt in small groups with your dogs or those of your guides. One guide for two, maximum three hunters.
There is no game quota for this package holiday. Nevertheless, the averages over the season are around 10/12 pieces per day and per hunter.
Course of your stay
A la carte stay – from 2 to 6 days depending on your availability and your wishes.
First day: Arrival in the hunting area, accommodation in the afternoon. Arrival by personal car or plane in Madrid (with car rental or transfer by our service). Dinner and overnight at your accommodation located directly on the territory.
Hunting days: Hearty breakfast at your accommodation around 8:30 am. Meeting with your guides. You are directly hosted on site so no need to travel to go hunting!
Hunting for small game and especially partridges in front of you, pointing dogs all morning. Return to the accommodation for a typical Spanish lunch, siesta or relaxation before an afternoon of hunting until dark.
Dinner and night.
Last day: Return by car or plane after breakfast
Gibiers chassés & Trophées
Pendant toute la saison de chasse, vous verrez de nombreux perdreaux et du lapin en abondance.
Si nous osons faire une moyenne, comptez environ une bonne douzaine de pièces par jour et par chasseur dont une large majorité de perdreaux.
En fonction de la période et selon la météo, possibilité de passage de pigeons ramiers et de grives, quelques bécasse en hiver.
Possibilité de passée aux canards le soir après une grande journée de chasse devant soi.
Accompagnants
Les accompagnants sont les bienvenues. Ils pourront accompagner les chasseurs et faire de superbes photos mais aussi, avec une voiture, visiter la région : La Mancha, terre de Don Quijote !
Profitez de ce séjour et même prenez une ou deux journées supplémentaires avant ou après la chasse pour faire du tourisme.
Votre Hébergement
L’hébergement sélectionné par Hunting Pleasure et son partenaire espagnol est de grande qualité. Il est situé directement sur votre zone de chasse. 11 chambres doubles ou individuelles avec salles de bain.
Grande salle à manger, coin salon et bar pour la convivialité de vos soirées entre amis.
Tous les repas sont d’excellente qualité, inclus dans le prix du séjour. Services irréprochables.
Sachez que l’hébergement dispose d’une chambre froide pour garder votre gibier si vous souhaitez le ramener !
Tourisme
Célèbre pour son artisanat et ses monuments, La Mancha est aussi et surtout la terre des aventures du célèbre héros de roman don Quichotte de La Manche.
Tout voyage dans cette région intérieure de l’Espagne doit inclure la visite de villes du patrimoine mondial comme Cuenca et ses fameuses maisons suspendues ou encore Tolède, sa cathédrale et son alcazar.
Si êtes amateur de culture et d’histoire, vous aimerez également ses quatre parcs archéologiques, ses témoignages d’art rupestre, parmi les plus anciens d’Espagne.
Si vous préférez les grands espaces, sachez que la région de Castille–La Mancha est l’un des territoires d’Europe les plus riches en réserves naturelles, parcs naturels et parc nationaux.
Bien entendu, la gastronomie y occupe également une place privilégiée, à travers des spécialités comme le miel de La Alcarria, le massepain de Tolède et une infinité de domaines viticoles où déguster des vins comme le Valdepeñas.

Tous les ans, une bonne soixantaine de nos amis-chasseurs profitent de ce séjour aux chiens d’arrêt. Les critiques sont rares même s’il est difficile de satisfaire tout le monde !
Ce séjour est une vraie chasse devant soi, notamment du perdreau aux chiens d’arrêt.
Country Info
Spain is part of the European Union and its currency is the euro. In our hunting area in October the average temperatures are between 16°C and
20°C but be aware that depending on the year they can go down to 5°C and go up to 30°C. You will absolutely need to wear sun protection. In February, the average temperatures are between 10°C and 15°C but depending on the year they can go down to 0°C and go up to 27°C.
Weapons-Equipment
Spain being part of the European Community, it is easy to come and hunt with your rifle. The possession of the European card of firearms is nevertheless obligatory. No other document is required.
Nevertheless, by car, at the border, we advise you to stop paying the import tax on your weapon (about ten euros!).
On site, we have several rifles that we can rent to you.
In terms of equipment, pack quite lightly… it must be relatively nice and quite warm, even if November and December can be rainy months. Don’t forget either that you will be hunting in an area located at an altitude of 700m!
To get to the area
By car, your territory is located in the heart of the La Mancha region, 1h30 south of Madrid, directly Valencia. Count 6h30 by road from the northern border of the country. Lots of freeways except the last few miles.
By plane, you will have the choice between the airports of Madrid, Valencia or Barcelona. We recommend Madrid and Valencia, closer to the hunting area (1h30 drive).
At the airport, it is best to rent a car (reduced cost in Spain) to get to the area because you will be independent of the local organizer.
taxidermy
You can leave with a few birds to enjoy with friends once you get home! Your accommodation has a cold room. But plan the coolers if you come by car.
